Natural gas produced with water, personal use regulated.

         ENTITLED, An Act to  regulate natural gas produced with water unless the gas is used for personal purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:

     Section  1.  That § 45-9-3 be amended to read as follows:

     45-9-3.   The waste of oil and gas is prohibited ; however . However, the production of gas for personal use in conjunction with the production of water insofar as such gas comes from the water-bearing formations is expressly excluded from the coverage of this chapter.
