Polygraph examiners license increased from an annual license
to a three year license.
ENTITLED, An Act to
revise certain provisions concerning the licensure of polygraph examiners.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section
1.
That
§
36-30-3
be amended to read as follows:
36-30-3.
A person may receive a license as a polygraph examiner
if
, which is valid for three
years if the person
:
(1)
He establishes
Establishes
that he
or she
is a person of good moral character;
(2)
He has
Has
satisfactorily completed at least six weeks of study in the use of a polygraph
in detection of deception or establishes that he
or she
is an experienced and competent
polygraph examiner based upon work experience; and
(3)
He submits
Submits
an application to the
attorney general's office
Office of the Attorney
General
along with a nonrefundable
twenty-five
seventy-five
dollar license fee.
