References updated to certain federal regulations regarding
financial assistance to persons displaced by highway acquisition.

         ENTITLED, An Act to  update the reference to certain federal regulations regarding financial assistance to persons displaced by highway acquisition.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:

     Section  1.  That § 31-19-49 be amended to read as follows:

     31-19-49.   If federal funds are available for payment of direct financial assistance to persons displaced by highway acquisition, the Department of Transportation, boards any board of county commissioners, or any county highway boards board may match such federal funds to the extent provided by federal law as of April 2, 1987 regulation as of February 3, 2005 .
