BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section
1.
That subdivision (8) of
§
3-13A-2
be amended to read as follows:
(8)
"Participant," a terminated employee of a participating unit who
is age fifty-five or over
has reached the calendar month prior to the month of the member's fifty-fifth birthday
and who received
two thousand
six hundred
dollars or more in special pay;
