Professional corporations and practitioners,
time limited for bringing actions.
Section
1.
No action may be brought after July 1, 2006, against any professional corporation
formed pursuant to chapter 47-11, 47-11A, 47-11B, 47-11C, 47-11D, 47-11E, 47-12, 47-13, 47-
13A, or 47-13B, or any shareholder of such corporation, or against any person individually
engaged as one of the following professionals: physicians, chiropractors, optometrists, podiatrists,
physician assistants, nurses, dentists, veterinarians, lawyers, and public accountants, for any act
or omission that occurred prior to January 1, 1980.
