Physician tuition reimbursement appropriation.
Section
1.
There is hereby appropriated from the general fund the sum of eighty-two thousand
four hundred sixty dollars ($82,460), or so much thereof as may be necessary, to the Department
of Health for the purposes of reimbursing two family physicians and one midlevel practitioner who
have, in the determination of the department, met the requirements of the state physician tuition
reimbursement program established pursuant to
§
1-16A-71.1 or the midlevel tuition
reimbursement program established pursuant to
§
1-16A-73.6.
Section
2.
The secretary of the Department of Health shall approve vouchers and the state
auditor shall draw warrants to pay expenditures authorized by this Act.
Section
3.
Any amounts appropriated in this Act not lawfully expended or obligated by
June
30, 2005, shall revert in accordance with
§
4-8-21.
