         HB 1004     require the Department of Education to provide for computer access for certain rural attendance centers in South Dakota and to make an appropriation therefor.
             Representatives Deadrick (Thomas), Bartling, Bradford, Buckingham, Dykstra, Elliott, Heineman, Juhnke, LaRue, McLaughlin, Peterson (Jim), Teupel, and Van Gerpen and Senators Duenwald and Koskan at the request of the Interim Committee on School District Educational Equality and Organization

         HB 1089     increase the financial incentive for three or more school districts to consolidate.
             Representatives Sigdestad, Bartling, Elliott, Engels, Frost, Fryslie, Gassman, Hanson, Hargens, Hundstad, Lange, Miles, Olson (Mel), Peterson (Bill), Peterson (Jim), Rave, Schafer, Thompson, and Van Gerpen and Senators Symens, Ham-Burr, Kooistra, Nachtigal, Olson (Ed), Reedy, Schoenbeck, and Vitter

         HB 1080     authorize a property tax opt out to exist in school district reorganization plans.
             The Committee on Education at the request of the Department of Education
        
The Education Department will give a presentation on the Reading Program and the NCLB Report Card.
A presentation on South Dakota's Technical Institutes.
