         SB 38     require participation in the national assessment of educational progress.

         SB 164     revise certain school district reserve fund restrictions related to the calculation of state aid to education.

         SB 71*     provide for the alternative certification of school administrators.
             Senators Olson (Ed), Dempster, Knudson, Koetzle, McCracken, Moore, Reedy, Sutton (Dan), and Symens and Representatives Schafer, Burg, Cradduck, Elliott, Haverly, Kroger, LaRue, and Olson (Mel)

         SB 157     clarify and revise certain provisions concerning criminal background investigations of school district employees and student teachers.
             Senators Vitter, Bogue, Koskan, McCracken, Olson (Ed), and Symens and Representatives Cutler, Gillespie, Pederson (Gordon), Peterson (Bill), Putnam, Sebert, Van Etten, and Van Gerpen

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
