         SB 92     require a school board to notify the parent or guardian of each student being taught by certain teachers.
             Senators McIntyre, Dennert, Duxbury, Hagen, Ham, Hutmacher, Koetzle, Moore, Munson, Olson (Ed), Reedy, Sutton (Dan), and Volesky and Representatives Lange, Bartling, Bradford, Burg, Davis, Garnos, Gillespie, Glenski, Hanson (Gary), Kooistra, Murschel, Nachtigal, and Valandra

         SB 102     exempt certain school districts from certain reductions in state aid to education.
             Senators Olson (Ed), de Hueck, Dennert, and Symens and Representatives Garnos, Hanson (Gary), Monroe, Sigdestad, and Sutton (Duane)

         SB 105     provide for the recall of certain school district officials.
             Senator Diedtrich (Elmer) and Representatives Wick, Eccarius, and Holbeck

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.

         SB 87     revise certain provisions pertaining to open enrollment.

         SB 5     establish a program for teacher mentors.
             Senators Moore, Ham, McIntyre, and Sutton (Dan) and Representatives Broderick, Bradford, Gillespie, Holbeck, McCoy, Solum, Teupel, and Wick at the request of the Interim Teacher Credentialing and Compensation Committee
