         HJR 1010     proposing and submitting to the electors at the next general election an amendment to Article IV, section 4, of the Constitution of the State of South Dakota, extending the time allowed for the Governor's review of legislation passed by the Legislature.

         HB 1251     require that hoghouse amendments have a two-thirds majority vote for consideration.

         HB 1168     provide for a study of legislative article of the South Dakota Constitution.

         HB 1228     provide for the creation of a no solicitation calls list for persons wishing not to receive unsolicited telephone calls, to create a telephone solicitation account, and to establish certain fees and civil penalties.

         HB 1279     revise and supplement certain powers of the Board of Water and Natural Resources and the South Dakota Conservancy District, to provide for the establishment of a corporation by the South Dakota Conservancy District for the purpose of acquiring, owning, leasing, subleasing and disposing of certain land, improvements and capital equipment comprising all or a portion of a system or part of a system of waterworks, sewage or waste disposal, and to establish or confirm the powers of municipalities and other public entities in connection therewith.

If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
