         SB 16     prohibit advertising chiropractic services without first obtaining a license.
             The Committee on Health and Human Services at the request of the Board of Chiropractic Examiners

         SB 17     require each applicant for licensure as a chiropractor in South Dakota or a licensee who is the subject of a disciplinary investigation to submit to a state and federal criminal background check.

         SB 18     revise the chiropractic scope of practice.

         SB 20     require a bachelor's degree for persons applying for a chiropractic license.

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
