         HB 1294     define midwifery and to prescribe the relationship between midwives and nurse midwives.
             Representatives Begalka, Bradford, Elliott, Fryslie, Hackl, Klaudt, Lange, McCaulley, Olson (Ryan), and Valandra and Senators Koskan, Apa, Duenwald, Greenfield, Kooistra, Moore, and Napoli

         HB 1277     require certain private organizations providing temporary care, shelter, or detention to children to meet certain standards.
             Representatives Murschel, Burg, Engels, Fryslie, Hennies, O'Brien, Schafer, Sebert, and Valandra and Senators Kelly, Abdallah, Ham-Burr, Kooistra, Moore, Napoli, and Schoenbeck

         HB 1159     prohibit certain persons from providing care and supervision for children in child welfare agencies, registered family day care homes, and unregistered family day care homes.
             Representatives Cutler, Begalka, Deadrick (Thomas), Garnos, Hackl, Haverly, Konold, Kraus, Thompson, and Weems and Senators Schoenbeck, Dempster, Moore, Olson (Ed), and Sutton (Dan)

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
