MOTION: To Adopt Senate Rules of the 96th Session as permanent rules for the 97th session, and repealing Senate Rule 2-6 (COVID-19 restrictions in Senate areas) and Senate Rule 4-4 (COVID-19 restriction in committee).

Action: Prevailed by Majority Members Elect (6-1-0-0)
Voting Yes: Cammack, Diedrich, Duhamel, Schoenbeck, Schoenfish, and Crabtree
Voting No: Nesiba
Senator Nesiba proposed rules 2-6 and 4-4 COVID-19 restrictions be reinstated. The proposed rules can be accessed online in meeting documents.
MOTION: To adopt Senate Rule 2-6 (COVID-19 restrictions in Senate areas) and Senate Rule 4-4 (COVID-19 restrictions in committee) from the permanent Senate Rules of the 96th Session as permanent rules of the Senate for the 97th Session.
