The meeting was called to order by Representative Tom Deadrick, Chairman.
A Joint informational meeting was held with the following presenting:
1. John Cooper, Secretary of the Department of Game, Fish and Parks
Secretary Cooper gave an overview of the department's goals and accomplishments (Handout 1).
Secretary Cooper's presentation ended with a question and answer session.
2. Doug Hansen, Director of Wildlife Division
Mr. Hanson spoke about his department's goals and accomplishments.
3. Steve Pirner, Secretary of Department of Environment and Natural Resources
Secretary Pirner discussed the two legislative issues that the department will sponsor.
He introduced members of his staff; Tom Tollefsrud, Joe Nadenicek, Garland Erbele.
Secretary Pirner's presentation ended with a question and answer session.
4. Larry Gabriel, Secretary of the Department of Agriculture
Secretary Gabriel gave an overview of the department's goals and accomplishments (Handouts
2, 3, 4, 5).
He introduced members of his staff; Joe Lowe, Ray Sowers, John Parrish, Kevin Fridley, George
Williams.
Secretary Gabriel's presentation ended with questions and answers.
