HB 1188 permit an association of school administrators to participate in the South Dakota
Retirement System.
SB 14 allow conversion of certain South Dakota Retirement System credited service by
certain law enforcement officers.
SB 94 change the auction agency license plate fee.

HB 1172 (Removed from Consent Calendar) revise the factors considered in the certification
of a county overweight vehicle enforcement program.
HB 1251* (Deferred from 25th LD) allow school districts to pay property insurance premiums
from their capital outlay funds.
HB 1213 (Deferred from 25th LD) revise the index factor in the state aid to education formula.
HB 1221* revise the requirement for the classification of certain structures for taxation.
HB 1228* (Placed by Motion) compensate school districts that have a larger enrollment in the
current year than during the previous year.
HB 1235 provide for the taxation of wind energy property in South Dakota.
HB 1139 allow local units of government to regulate the sales, distribution, and use of tobacco
products.
HB 1147 increase the tax on cigarettes and other tobacco products.

SB 23*& grant counties greater authority to prohibit the use of fireworks during periods of
extreme fire danger.
SB 29*& authorize the Board of Regents to construct an addition to the Darold "Dud" King
Physical Education Center at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and
to make an appropriation therefor.
SB 80*& establish the Richard Hagen-Minerva Harvey memorial scholarship program and to
make an appropriation therefor.
SB 81& make appropriations from the water and environment fund, the water pollution
control revolving fund subfund, and the drinking water revolving fund subfund for
the purpose of making certain grants and loans, and to declare an emergency.
SB 85& appropriate money for the Northern Crops Institute.
SB 127& provide that the beneficial interest in any wind easement shall follow the surface
estate.

SB 199& revise the powers and composition of the South Dakota State Fair Commission
