MOTIONS AND RESOLUTIONS

HCR 1011    (HJ p 488) Recognizing and honoring Sitting Bull, Tatanka-Iyotanka, a courageous warrior, statesman, dedicated leader, one of South Dakota's first ambassadors to the world, and a man who remains an essential figure in South Dakota and United States history.
HCR 1013    (HJ p 491) To urge the United States Department of State to approve the presidential permit application allowing the construction and operation of the TransCanada Keystone XL Pipeline between the United States and Canada.
HCR 1014    (HJ p 492) Expressing the strongest support for, and unity with, the State of Israel and recognizing Jerusalem, as Israel's undivided capital.
HB 1097     (Intent to reconsider by which lost) revise certain unemployment insurance contribution rates, to provide for an unemployment insurance administrative fee, and to provide for the distribution of the fee.

HB 1117*    (Amended HJ 359) revise certain provisions regarding golf carts on state highways.


SECOND READING OF HOUSE BILLS AND JOINT RESOLUTIONS

HB 1165*    provide for annually updated financial interest statements for any person elected to federal, statewide, or local office.
HB 1211*    (Amended HJ 466) provide for a grace period after the expiration of a permit and a warning ticket for carrying a concealed pistol while in possession of an expired permit.
HB 1149*    revise the tax on certain telecommunication services and devices.
HB 1118    eliminate the need to prove the use of force, fraud, or coercion in the human trafficking of minors.
HB 1191    require cooperation with the Division of Child Support as a condition of eligibility for the SNAP program.
HB 1071     (Deferred from 29th LD) require the approval of the Legislature before any high level nuclear waste may be processed or deposited within state boundaries.
HB 1083     (Deferred from 29th LD) establish certain provisions for awarding grants and collecting surcharges related to the equal access to our courts fund.

HC 1020    (HJ p 541) Celebrating and honoring Tabor's Annual Czech Days festivities on the occasion of its sixty-ninth anniversary on June 15th, 16th, and 17th 2017.
HC 1021    (HJ p 541) Honoring and commending the 2016 Class AA Mitchell Kernels Football Team on winning the South Dakota Class AA State Football Championship for Mitchell High School, the first time in play-off history.
