        FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to repeal certain provisions providing a criminal penalty for a political party to endorse or nominate a judicial candidate.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
    Section 1. That § 12-9-2 be repealed.
    12-9-2. It is a Class 2 misdemeanor for any political party to endorse or nominate by any convention, or other method, any candidate for judicial office.
