A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION, Honoring and recognizing the work and presence of Cindy Tryon as a positive and elating force in the South Dakota Legislative Research Council.

WHEREAS, the work required to keep the South Dakota Legislature up and running can at times become taxing; and

WHEREAS, each morning, Cindy Tryon greets legislators, interns, pages, and other staff members alike with a bright and welcoming expression; and

WHEREAS, Cindy helps immensely with the process that keeps the wheels moving in the Capitol; and

WHEREAS, Cindy is a well-educated citizen of South Dakota, graduating from Milbank High School and Dakota State University; and

WHEREAS, Cindy has a long history of involvement with the Legislature, spending a week in Pierre each year with her legislator father, Harold Halverson; and

WHEREAS, Cindy is a loving wife, a great mother to her two sons and daughter, and a doting grandmother to her two grandsons and granddaughter:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the Ninety-Seventh Legislature of the State of South Dakota, that Cindy Tryon, a dedicated member of the Legislative Research Council, and a smiling face that improves the days of those she encounters, be honored and recognized for her dedication to the South Dakota Legislature and the positive impact she has on those she interacts with.
