An Act to provide for permanent daylight savings time when permissible under federal law.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota:
Section 1. That chapter 1-5 be amended with a NEW SECTION:
Whenever the attorney general certifies that federal law permits the state to enter upon and permanently observe daylight savings time, this state shall permanently observe daylight savings time.
