HOUSE COMMEMORATION NO. 1058

A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION, Commending and honoring Lincoln High School, Sioux
Falls, South Dakota, as a National School of Excellence for Speech and Debate by the National
Forensic League.
WHEREAS, all members of Lincoln High Speech and Debate helped facilitate and cultivate the
achievements and success in speech and debate; and
WHEREAS, the National School of Excellence for Speech and Debate recognizes those schools
whose students compete in a minimum of fifty rounds past the elimination break; and
WHEREAS, Lincoln High School is recognized as one of the only schools in the nation to be
so honored in 2011:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the Eighty-seventh Legislature of the
State of South Dakota, that the Legislature congratulates Lincoln High School Speech and Debate
on the success of their exceptional performance.
