An Act to provide for permanent daylight savings time when permissible under federal law.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota:
Section 1. That a NEW SECTION be added:
1-5-18. Daylight savings time--Required certification.
Whenever the attorney general certifies that the provisions of 15 U.S.C. §§ 260 through 263, inclusive, have been amended, thereby allowing a state to enter upon and permanently observe daylight savings time, this state shall permanently observe daylight savings time.
