         HB 1002     require the Department of Corrections to seek membership in the Performance-based Standards Project.
             Representatives Hennies and Murschel and Senators Ham, Kleven, Moore, and Nachtigal at the request of the Interim Juvenile Offenses and Sentencing Committee

         HB 1026     establish the regents scholarship program and to make an appropriation therefor.
             The Committee on State Affairs at the request of the Board of Regents

         HJR 1001     Proposing and submitting to the electors at the next general election an amendment to Article VIII of the Constitution of the State of South Dakota pertaining to distribution of school and public lands income and proceeds of fines collected from violations of state laws.
             Representatives Teupel, Peterson (Bill), Peterson (Jim), and Smidt and Senators Napoli and Sutton (Duane) at the request of the Interim School Finance Study Committee

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
