         SB 41*     revise certain provisions regarding the higher education savings plan and to declare an emergency.
             The Committee on State Affairs at the request of the Investment Council

         SJR 3     Proposing and submitting to the electors at the next general election, an amendment to Article VIII of the Constitution of the State of South Dakota, relating to scholarships for students attending certain universities, colleges, and technical schools located in the state.
             Senators Hutmacher, Dennert, Koetzle, McIntyre, Moore, Reedy, Sutton (Dan), and Volesky and Representatives Olson (Mel), Bartling, Bradford, Burg, Elliott, Flowers, Gillespie, Glenski, Hundstad, and Nachtigal

         SB 89*     allow a school district to impose an excess levy for its pension fund.
             Senators Dennert, Hutmacher, McIntyre, Moore, and Sutton (Dan) and Representatives Elliott, Olson (Mel), and Sutton (Duane)

         SB 149     allow a school district to impose additional taxes.
             Senators Everist, Brosz, Cradduck, Hutmacher, Koetzle, McIntyre, Moore, Olson (Ed), and Sutton (Dan) and Representatives Peterson (Bill), Murschel, and Olson (Mel)

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
