CONSIDERATION OF REPORTS OF CONFERENCE COMMITTEES

HB 1079     (HJ 802) revise certain provisions regarding the sex offender registry.
HB 1237     (HJ 808) make an appropriation to fund certain property and sales tax refunds for elderly persons and persons living with a disability.
SB 72     (HJ 803) make an appropriation to initiate a master of social work degree program in higher education.

CONFERENCE COMMITTEES APPOINTED THAT HAVE NOT REPORTED

SB 42      impose the sales tax on the gross receipts derived from renting mini-storage units, self-storage units, or storage space and the use tax on the use of mini-storage units, self-storage units, or storage space.
     Provide an application deadline for sales and use tax refunds regarding certain storage facilities.

SC 27     (SJ 740) Commending David Adickes of President's Park Sculpture Garden near Lead, South Dakota, for his vision and talent as the designer and creator of the monumental patriotic artworks on permanent display in the Black Hills.
SC 28     (SJ 740) Honoring the life and times of Chester Sorensen of Freeman, South Dakota.
SC 29     (SJ 741) Honoring Jack Van Der Geest who passed away on March 5, 2009.
SC 30     (SJ 742) Honoring the life of Elsa Marie Winter Siefken of Wessington, South Dakota, on the occasion of her one hundredth birthday.
SC 31     (SJ 742) Honoring Mark Steck for receiving the 2008 Distinguished Service Award.
