         HB 1033     provide benefit improvements for certain members of the South Dakota Retirement System, to revise the provisions for the purchase of uncredited service by members of the system, and to provide for increased contributions for certain members.
             The Committee on Retirement Laws at the request of the South Dakota Retirement System

         HB 1032*     revise certain retirement system provisions to comply with the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001, to authorize members to acquire credited service by transferring certain retirement funds, to protect the confidentiality of member information, and to declare an emergency.
             The Committee on Retirement Laws at the request of the South Dakota Retirement System

         HB 1093*     revise certain reemployment requirements in the South Dakota Retirement System.
             Representatives Kooistra, Bradford, Davis, Garnos, Michels, Olson (Mel), and Sebert and Senators Munson, McCracken, and McIntyre

         HB 1065     expand the South Dakota Retirement System board membership.
             Representatives Michels, Hennies (Thomas), and Kooistra and Senators McCracken and McIntyre

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
