ADDENDUM II

CONSIDERATION OF REPORTS OF CONFERENCE COMMITTEES

HB 1153     (HJ 38th LD) revise the elements of the crime of indecent exposure involving a child and to broaden the application of the public indecency and indecent exposure statutes.
HB 1254     (HJ 38th LD) revise the funding of elementary and secondary education and to increase the required minimum size of a school district.
     Revise the index factor in the state aid to education formula.
     Enhance education.
HB 1281     (HJ 38th LD) enhance funding for state highways, to increase fees on certain signs, displays, or devices, and to provide certain penalties.
     Enhance funding for state highways by increasing fees on certain signs, displays, or devices.
SB 106     (HJ 38th LD) revise the index factor in the state aid to general education formula, to set a maximum per student allocation for school districts with an excess general fund balance, and to require the Legislature to estimate general fund revenues for the current fiscal year and the next fiscal year.
     Enhance education in South Dakota.
     Revise certain provisions regarding the distribution of funds to sparse school districts, and to appropriate funds to distribute to sparse school districts.
SB 117      (HJ 38th LD) appropriate funds to the postsecondary technical institutes for program enhancement.
     Revise certain budgetary provisions relating to certain funds received from the federal government.

HB 1237     make an appropriation to fund certain property and sales tax refunds for elderly persons and persons living with a disability.

SB 42      impose the sales tax on the gross receipts derived from renting mini-storage units, self-storage units, or storage space and the use tax on the use of mini-storage units, self-storage units, or storage space.
     Provide an application deadline for sales and use tax refunds regarding certain storage facilities.

SB 72     make an appropriation to initiate a master of social work degree program in higher education.
