         SCR 2     Urging the United States Congress to adopt legislation providing greater equity in Medicare reimbursement between large urban health care providers and rural health care providers.

         SB 152     allow the offer of an individual health benefit plan without certain mandates.

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.

BILLS FOR POSSIBLE ACTION WHICH HAVE HAD PRIOR HEARING.

         SB 117     provide that donations of body parts evidenced by driver's licenses and nondriver identification cards not be used for research and education.

         SB 118     prohibit smoking in public places.
             Senators McCracken, Diedtrich (Elmer), Ham, and McIntyre and Representatives Peterson (Bill), Frost, Glenski, and Van Etten

         SB 137     allow local units of government to regulate tobacco products.
