     On page 1 , line 11, after " township. " insert " However, special meetings called in townships with

a population of twenty or less resident voters need not comply with the requirements of this section. Special meetings in townships with a population of twenty or less resident voters may be called by supervisors, township clerks, or any two of them or may be called by any two resident voters of the township. ".


     On page 2 , line 2, after " publication " insert " , except that such publication shall be made not less than three days prior to such special meeting and may be made in lieu of publication by first class mail. ".
