SECOND READING OF CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS
SB 24 continue to allow investigative materials to be confidential during the investigative
phase and to allow the material to be obtained by parties to a complaint after a
probable cause determination is made.
SB 25 place a maximum fee for certain initial public offerings of securities.
SB 27 revise the requirement for review of an insurance company's actuarial data after
credit unemployment rate filings.
SB 28 eliminate the requirement that appointed scale inspectors take an oath of office and
post a performance bond.
SB 31 update references to the codes of ethics for teachers and administrators.
SB 33 revise the state trunk highway system.

LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATIONS
HC 1001 (HJ 104) Honoring Kendra Dwight, South Dakota Girls' State Governor, and John
Rapinchuk, South Dakota Boys' State Governor, and commending the South
Dakota American Legion and Auxiliary for their sponsorship and coordination of
the Girls' State and Boys' State programs.
HC 1002 (HJ 105) Honoring and supporting Czech Days in Tabor, South Dakota, on the
occasion of its fifty-fourth anniversary.
