         HB 1004     provide for a refund of tuition for certain teachers.
             Representatives Wick, Bradford, Broderick, Gillespie, Holbeck, McCoy, and Teupel and Senators Moore, Ham, McIntyre, and Sutton (Dan) at the request of the Interim Teacher Credentialing and Compensation Committee

         HB 1018     grant the Board of Regents exclusive jurisdiction to investigate civil claims or controversies involving charges of academic misconduct by its employees and to adjudicate contested cases involving such matters.

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
