         SB 192     require certain prescription drug manufacturers and labelers to enter into rebate agreements, to establish a discount prescription drug program for certain individuals, to require retail pharmacies to offer certain discounts, and to prescribe penalties and remedies.
             Senators Hutmacher, Koetzle, Moore, Reedy, Sutton (Dan), and Volesky and Representatives Olson (Mel), Bartling, Bradford, Burg, Davis, Elliott, Flowers, Hargens, Hundstad, Lange, Nachtigal, Nesselhuf, Peterson (Jim), and Sigdestad

         SB 196     provide for a negotiated price for prescription drugs sold in the state.
             Senators Hutmacher, Koetzle, Moore, Reedy, Sutton (Dan), and Volesky and Representatives Olson (Mel), Bartling, Bradford, Burg, Davis, Elliott, Flowers, Glenski, Hargens, Hundstad, Lange, Nesselhuf, Peterson (Jim), and Sigdestad

         SB 242     affect the sale and pricing of prescription drugs in the State of South Dakota.
             The Committee on State Affairs at the request of the Governor

         SB 241     establish a tuition reimbursement program for dentists who fulfill certain requirements.
             The Committee on State Affairs at the request of the Governor

         SJR 1     Proposing and submitting to the electors at the special election designated by the Seventy-fifth Legislature, meeting in special session, an amendment to Article VIII of the Constitution of the State of South Dakota, relating to the creation and administration of a trust fund using certain tobacco settlement monies.
             Senators Dennert, de Hueck, Diedtrich (Elmer), Ham, Hutmacher, McIntyre, Moore, Reedy, Symens, and Volesky and Representatives Sutton (Duane), Brown (Jarvis), Burg, Elliott, Frost, Hennies (Thomas), Hundstad, Kooistra, McCoy, and Olson (Mel)

         SB 239     establish the regents scholarship program and provide for its funding.
             The Committee on State Affairs at the request of the Governor

         SB 240     make an appropriation for the regents scholarship program.
             The Committee on State Affairs at the request of the Governor

         SB 249     provide for the governance of certain hospitals, to establish requirements for hospital medical staffs and criteria for medical staff membership, and to regulate medical staff privileges.
             Senators Bogue, Diedtrich (Elmer), and Vitter and Representatives Van Etten, Elliott, Frost, and Pederson (Gordon)

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
