         HB 1275     revise the definition of custodian as it relates to child abuse or neglect.
             Representatives Broderick, Garnos, and Jaspers and Senator Sutton (Dan)

         HB 1202     provide for the recovery of reasonable attorney's fees and costs in actions for deceit.
             Representative McCaulley and Senator Everist

         HB 1241     revise certain crimes to include certain forms of threatening or harassing communications.
             Representatives Hunhoff, Abdallah, Broderick, Brown (Jarvis), Brown (Richard), Frost, Heineman, Hennies (Thomas), Juhnke, McCaulley, McCoy, Michels, Murschel, and Valandra and Senators de Hueck, Albers, Ham, Hutmacher, Kleven, Koetzle, Madden, Moore, Munson, Volesky, and Whiting

         SB 29*     provide that certain offenses are violent offenses for purposes of parole eligibility.
             The Committee on State Affairs at the request of the Department of Corrections

         SB 80     clarify the definition of the term, member, with regard to certain definition of corporation provisions.

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
