         HB 1274     revise certain provisions regarding the operation of child welfare agencies and registered and unregistered family day care homes.
             Representatives Broderick, Abdallah, Brown (Richard), Garnos, Heineman, Hennies (Thomas), Jaspers, Michels, and Murschel and Senators Sutton (Dan), Daugaard, de Hueck, Everist, and Symens

         HB 1275     revise the definition of custodian as it relates to child abuse or neglect.
             Representatives Broderick, Garnos, and Jaspers and Senator Sutton (Dan)

         HB 1194     increase certain penalties for unlawful use of computers and computer networks.
             Representatives Smidt and Hansen (Tom) and Senators Bogue and Greenfield

         HB 1202     provide for the recovery of reasonable attorney's fees and costs in actions for deceit.
             Representative McCaulley and Senator Everist

         SB 29*     provide that certain offenses are violent offenses for purposes of parole eligibility.
             The Committee on State Affairs at the request of the Department of Corrections

         SB 80     clarify the definition of the term, member, with regard to certain definition of corporation provisions.
             Senators Bogue, Brown (Arnold), de Hueck, Moore, Reedy, and Sutton (Dan) and Representatives Madsen, Flowers, Michels, and Monroe

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
