SCR 9     (SJ 34th LD) Opposing certain practices by corporations in the genetically modified and genetically engineered seed industry.
SB 55 *    (Consideration of House Amendment, HJ 598) revise the requirements regarding the licensing and regulation of grain buyers.
SB 115 *    (Consideration of House Amendments, HJ 599, 663) ) revise certain provisions related to the initiation of modifications to county comprehensive plans.
SB 126 *    (Consideration of House Amendments, HJ 575, 666) revise certain provisions regarding school attendance.

HB 1163 *     excuse certain elderly persons from jury duty upon request and to revise certain provisions relating to the minimum age for jury service.
     Provide for excusing certain elderly persons from jury duty upon request.
HB 1280 *    create reduced ignition propensity standards for cigarettes, to authorize the state fire marshal to monitor such standards, and to provide penalties therefor.

HB 1007 *    (Deferred from 34th LD)) increase certain noncommercial and commercial motor vehicle license fees and to increase the fuel excise tax on certain fuel used by motor vehicles.
HB 1060 *    (Deferred from 34th LD) revise certain provisions regarding the mortgage lender business and to provide for fees and penalties related thereto.
HB 1070 *    (Deferred from 34th LD) revise certain fees pertaining to seed permits and nursery certificates of inspection.
HB 1072 *    (Deferred from 34th LD ) repeal certain provisions concerning the delayed remittance of sales and use taxes for certain businesses.
     Increase the gross receipts tax imposed on visitor-related businesses.
HB 1215 *    (Deferred from 34th LD ) transfer funds from the tax relief fund to the general fund and to revise certain provisions concerning the effective date of the collection allowance.
HB 1241 *     (Deferred from 34th LD) provide for the delivery of special education or special education and related services to a child during the child's transition from one state school district to another.

SC 20     (SJ 34th LD) Commending Ray Hillenbrand of the Prairie Edge Trading Company and Galleries in Rapid City for his cultural sensitivity and good faith with respect to South Dakota's Native American community.
SC 21     (SJ 34th LD) Commending the outstanding efforts of William and Sharon Ratzlaff of Freeman, South Dakota, in offering generous, compassionate, and selfless foster and adopted child care service for the past forty-three years.
SC 22     (SJ 34th LD) Commending Steve Morgan for his election as South Dakota Sportscaster of the Year for 2008.
SC 23     (SJ 34th LD) Honoring Dr. Sam Holland, State Veterinarian, for his many years of service to the State of South Dakota.
