         HB 1109     permit the detention in an adult jail of certain juveniles convicted as adults.
             Representatives Hennies (Thomas), Bartling, Burg, Clark, Frost, Garnos, Hunhoff, Jensen, McCaulley, Rhoden, and Slaughter and Senators Albers, Diedtrich (Elmer), McCracken, Putnam, and Vitter

         HB 1110     criminalize the possession of certain contraband in juvenile correctional facilities and the delivery of certain contraband to juvenile correctional facilities.
             Representatives Hennies (Thomas), Bartling, Burg, Clark, Frost, Garnos, Hunhoff, Jensen, McCaulley, Rhoden, and Slaughter and Senators Albers, Diedtrich (Elmer), McCracken, Putnam, and Vitter

         HB 1120     allow a medical necessity to be used as a defense in certain cases involving the possession or use of marijuana.

         HB 1122     modify the time required for a temporary custody hearing to be held in certain juvenile legal proceedings.
             Representatives Brown (Jarvis), Bartling, Flowers, Garnos, Hennies (Thomas), Jaspers, Juhnke, Lintz, Napoli, and Slaughter and Senators de Hueck, Hagen, Koetzle, Putnam, Reedy, and Sutton (Dan)

         HB 1126     require any driver involved in a fatal traffic accident to submit to a chemical test.
             Representatives Duenwald, Abdallah, Duniphan, Monroe, Sebert, and Van Etten and Senators Daugaard, Albers, Madden, and Vitter

         SB 2*     prohibit employers from obtaining, seeking, or using genetic information.
             Senators Madden and Ham and Representatives McCoy and Slaughter at the request of the Interim Judiciary Committee

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
