         HB 1091     revise certain provisions regarding jurisdiction for certain offenses involving intoxicating substances.
             Representatives Brown (Jarvis), Abdallah, Broderick, Duniphan, Garnos, and Konold and Senators Albers, Brosz, and Moore

         HB 1092     include in certain drug offenses the altered state of a controlled drug or substance or marijuana once absorbed into the body.

         HB 1097     revise the definition of sexual contact.

         HB 1098     allow law enforcement officials to use new technological advances in lie detection.
             Representatives Michels and Hunhoff and Senators Albers and Moore

         HB 1100     provide for a mandatory jail sentence for a second driving under the influence conviction.
             Representatives Adelstein and Brown (Richard) and Senator Ham

         HB 1101     clarify the discretion of the court to impose sentences concurrently or consecutively.

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
