         SB 8     establish a public policy of protecting cropland and pasture in county drainage plans.
             Senators Symens, Diedtrich (Elmer), and Vitter and Representatives Fryslie and Hanson (Gary) at the request of the Interim Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee

         SB 10     clarify certain provisions concerning the ownership of public water and public access thereto.

         SB 11     permit the fencing of certain lakes, ponds, and sloughs for the containment of livestock.

         SB 12     prohibit the launching of boats from public highways under certain circumstances and to provide penalties therefor.

         SB 9     revise certain provisions pertaining to landowner liability for injuries sustained by trespassers on flooded land.

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
