SB 0079      revise certain provisions relating to notice or nonrenewal of automobile policies.


SECOND READING OF SENATE BILLS AND JOINT RESOLUTIONS

SB 0010*      (amended SJ 109) create a classification for owner-operated commercial business property and to establish a maximum property tax levy on owner-operated commercial business property for the general fund tax levy of a school district.
SB 0012*      (amended SJ 108) provide for a conservation easement for certain state lands.
SB 0045      (deferred from 8th LD) authorize the Governor to enter into a multi-state compact for the development, implementation, and administration of a simplified sales and use tax collection system.
SB 0048      (deferred from 8th LD) establish the crime of criminal exposure to HIV and to provide a penalty therefor.
SB 0060      (deferred from 8th LD) provide for the revocation of the driving privileges of certain persons who are under the influence of illegal substances while driving or riding in a motor vehicle.
SB 0061      (deferred from 8th LD) revise the elements of the crimes of vehicular homicide and vehicular battery.
SB 0062      (deferred from 8th LD) provide that sexual penetration with a minor stepchild is rape in the third degree.




SB 0024      require kindergarten attendance.
SB 0093      prohibit smoking near certain pumps dispensing motor fuel.
