SB 0033*      (SJ 36-37) define the duty of insurers and rights of consumers with regard to auto insurance damage claims.
SB 0011      require annual training and testing for county veterans' service officers and to grant rule-making authority to the Division of Veterans Affairs.
SB 0022      modify the driver's license revocation period for vehicular homicide.
SB 0009      provide for the extension of certain definitions relating to tax assessments.


SECOND READING OF SENATE BILLS AND JOINT RESOLUTIONS

SB 0001      provide for the judicial jurisdiction of certain underage consumption offenses.
SB 0008      revise certain provisions relating to the establishment of a separate market value for land in an identifiable region.
SB 0021      allow for the additional public distribution of sex offender information.
SB 0032      allow parties involved in a human rights dispute equal access to investigative records in a contested case proceeding after a probable cause determination.



SJR 001      Proposing and submitting to the electors at the next general election amendments to Article VIII of the Constitution of the State of South Dakota to permit the investment of the permanent school funds in certain stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other financial instruments and to use a certain portion of the interest and income to increase the principal in the fund.
