HB 1143      create the South Dakota State-Tribal Economic Development Commission, to prescribe its duties and authority, and to make an appropriation therefor.

HB 1093      revise the procedure for assessing property.
          Representatives Konold and Pummel and Senator Madden

HB 1073      permit assessments based on benefits.
          Representatives Young, Apa, and Chicoine and Senators Dunn (Jim) and Olson

HB 1261      permit schools to display the Ten Commandments.
          Representatives Weber, Diedtrich (Elmer), Duenwald, Monroe, Sebert, and Waltman and Senators Lawler, Dunn (Rebecca), Flowers, Lange, Madden, Reedy, Symens, and Vitter

HB 1250      provide for certain election or campaign finance reforms.

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at the next meeting of the committee. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
