SECOND READING OF CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS
* Amended

HB 1009 *    require certain tax refund claims for construction projects and certain documents and records in support of tax refund claims for construction projects to be filed within certain time periods.
HB 1112 *    establish certain restrictions and requirements related to encumbrances on wind easements.
HB 1121 *    establish certain procedural requirements related to the relocation of electrical lines, communication lines, and pipelines.
HB 1129 *     require landowner participation or approval of certain agreements relating to carbon sequestration.
     Ensure the integrity of pipelines to be used for the transportation of carbon dioxide for the purpose of enhanced oil recovery or geologic carbon sequestration.
HB 1145 *    revise provisions related to the waiver or reduction of certain special assessments.
HB 1243     modify the requirements regarding the ownership and use of local government endowment funds.

HB 1240 *    prohibit smoking tobacco or carrying lighted tobacco products in certain places and to require certain persons to inform violators of the prohibition.
HB 1251 *     increase the annual license stamp fee upon certain gaming devices.
     Impose an additional tax on the proceeds of Deadwood gaming.
HB 1118 *    (Deferred from 30th LD) revise the type of slot machines that may be owned or leased by the City of Deadwood.
HB 1025     revise the basic salary schedule for county veteran's service officers.
HB 1031     increase the maximum allowable expense for erecting certain veteran's grave markers and headstones.
HB 1033 *    make an appropriation for the construction of an addition to the admissions area of the George S. Mickelson Center for the Neurosciences at the Human Services Center.
HB 1048 *    increase the transfer from the water and environment fund, and increase the solid waste management fee, mining license and permit fees, water right filing and permit application fees, and well driller and pump installer license fees, all of which are deposited in the environment and natural resources fee fund.
HB 1069 *    increase certain fees charged by the Office of the Secretary of State.
HB 1173 *    appropriate money for the Northern Crops Institute.
HB 1270 *    change the purpose of the veterans affairs special revenue fund.
HB 1239 *    create the South Dakota Boxing Commission and to provide for the supervision of boxing, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts competitions and sparring exhibitions in the state.
HB 1177 *    revise the definition of transmission facilities.
HB 1255 *    (Removed from Consent Calendar) revise certain provisions concerning the telecommunications gross receipts tax.
HB 1233     (Deferred from 30th LD) revise certain provisions regarding the campaign finance reporting of the expenditures of certain organizations.

HC 1017     (HJ 568) Honoring the Pierre Junior Shooters' BB Gun Team as International Champions.
HC 1018     (HJ 569) Honoring Dr. Robert V. Burns on thirty-five years of outstanding service to the South Dakota Legislative Internship Program.
HC 1019     (HJ 570) Honoring the Winner School District as a 2008 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award winner.
