SECOND READING OF CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS

SB 101     clarify the school residence of a child assigned to an approved out of district special education residential or tuition day program when the residence of the child's parent or guardian changes.
SB 22     authorize counties to borrow funds for the construction and operation of solid waste management facilities through the issuance of revenue bonds and to set rates in an amount sufficient to retire the bonds.
SB 31     revise certain labeling requirements for gasoline or gasoline blends.
SB 61     update certain citations to federal regulations regarding pipeline safety inspection.
SB 84     revise certain provisions relating to collateral real estate mortgages.
SB 6     revise certain requirements regarding the code.
SB 7     codify legislation enacted in 2008.

SB 30     (Removed from Consent Calendar) repeal the requirement that the Department of Transportation file a copy of the official state trunk highway map with every county auditor.
SB 1     (Deferred from 29th LD) clarify, repeal, update, and make form and style revisions to certain statutes related to the Department of Game, Fish and Parks.
SB 17 *    (Deferred from 29th LD) revise certain driver licensing provisions.
SB 105 *    require the State Brand Board to provide certain reports and information and to provide for Senate confirmation for Brand Board members.
SB 88     rescind the repeal on funding for sparse school districts that will take effect on June 30, 2009.
SB 29 *     revise the requirements for replacement of group life insurance policies.
     Revise the requirements for replacement or discontinuance of group life insurance policies.
SB 65 *    revise certain provisions relating to child support.

HC 1016     (HJ 29th LD) Honoring coach Tom Rogers for achieving his 300th win as the head coach of the Stanley County Lady Buffs Basketball Team.
HC 1017     (HJ 29th LD) Honoring the Pierre Junior Shooters' BB Gun Team as International Champions.
HC 1018     (HJ 29th LD) Honoring Dr. Robert V. Burns on thirty-five years of outstanding service to the South Dakota Legislative Internship Program.
HC 1019     (HJ 29th LD) Honoring the Winner School District as a 2008 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award winner.
SC 12     (SJ 543) Honoring Chairman Michael Jandreau of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe for his dedication and lifelong service to his tribe, state, and nation.
