Cultural Affairs.
Dianna Miller, ESD+5, gave remarks and introduced Jim Meader, Research Group, who presented
an overview of the 1998 statewide educational survey. This study was commissioned by the
ESD+5(Sioux Falls, Rapid City, Brandon Valley, Madison, Brookings, Pierre, Yankton, Huron,
Spearfish, Sturgis, Mitchell, Aberdeen, and Watertown School Districts), the School Administrators
of South Dakota, Associated School Boards of South Dakota, the South Dakota Education
Association, the School Superintendents and the Small School Coalition.
SB 23:
revise certain provisions regarding the type of academic achievement tests
required under the state testing program.
