On the House State Affairs committee engrossed bill,
delete everything after the enacting clause
and insert:
"
Section 1. The Game, Fish and Parks Commission shall impose a surcharge of five dollars on
each classification of hunting license issued by the Department of Game, Fish and Parks. All
revenues from this surcharge shall be deposited in a special fund known as the South Dakota
sportsmen's access and depredation fund. Moneys in the fund shall be continuously appropriated to
the commission. Half of the moneys shall be budgeted for the acquisition of increased public access
on private lands. Half of the moneys shall be budgeted for mitigating wildlife depredation on private
lands.
