I herewith return Senate Bill 127 and return it with the following recommendation as to STYLE and FORM.

Section 2 of Senate Bill 127 twice refers to a “Division of Forestry” within the Department of Agriculture. The “Division of Forestry” has not existed since a law change in 1995. The responsibility for the functions described in Senate Bill 127 properly lies with the Department of Agriculture, not with the Division.

Because the final engrossed and enrolled version comes to this office without line numbers, the changes I recommend refer to the version of the Bill as passed by the Senate State Affairs Committee. On page 2, line 8 of the bill delete “Division of Forestry”. On page 2, line 11 of the bill delete “Division of Forestry”.

     SB 171: FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act  to revise certain provisions regarding how long certain unsubstantiated reports of child abuse and neglect may be maintained.

     SB 181: FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act  to allow additional compensation to state's attorneys for the performance of legal services under the Violence Against Women Act.

     SB 198: FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act  to revise certain requirements of the director of the Office of Laboratory Services.

     SB 210: FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act  to regulate certain conduct involving fires on public land and to establish related penalties.

     SB 215: FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act  to transfer the Unclaimed Property Office from the State Treasurer's Office to the secretary of revenue.

     SB 242: FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act  to revise the public records law to clarify certain disclosures.

     SB 260: FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act  to provide that termination of parental rights is final and unconditional.

     And signed the same in the presence of the Senate.
