HCR 1008     (HJ 341) Expressing support for improved adolescent health and wellness by recognizing the importance of an adolescent well physical to prevent chronic diseases, help better identify and treat chronic diseases, and update immunizations.
HB 1053 *    (Consideration of Senate amendments; SJ 318, 363) repeal the prohibition against the resale of certain seized or abandoned property purchased from the secretary of game, fish and parks.
HB 1089 *    (Consideration of Senate amendment; SJ 276) provide the court with discretion in ordering certain hearings on protection order petitions.
HB 1097 *    (Consideration of Senate amendment; SJ 319) provide for certain filing fees and surcharges in certain civil cases and to provide exemptions in certain cases.

SECOND READING OF CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS

HB 1213     allow school districts to enter into group health insurance contracts that include dental and vision insurance, and to allow school districts to offer group life and group health insurance benefits to retired employees.

HB 1203     (Deferred from 20th LD) limit asbestos-related liabilities for certain successor corporations.
HB 1104     (Deferred from 20th LD) authorize a sentencing court to impose consecutive revocations of hunting, fishing, or trapping privileges under certain conditions.
HB 1188 *    require that five percent of the qualified electors in one-half of the counties sign initiative and referendum petitions.
HB 1166     provide for DNA testing for certain inmates for the purposes of determining whether they may have been wrongfully convicted.
HB 1207     provide for the reduction of certain sentences upon provision of substantial assistance from the recipient.

SB 1     (Deferred from 20th LD) clarify, repeal, update, and make form and style revisions to certain statutes related to the Department of Game, Fish and Parks.
SB 51     (Deferred from 20th LD) provide for a drug screening program for certain applicants and employees of the Wildland Fire Suppression Division.

LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATIONS

HC 1007     (HJ 353) Expressing the Legislature's respect and appreciation for the fifty-three years of devoted service by Gordon R. Pederson to his city, state, and nation.
SC 9     (SJ 364) Honoring Whitney Jencks of Arlington, South Dakota Girls State Governor and Tyler Littau of Carter, South Dakota Boys State Governor; and commending the South Dakota American Legion and Auxiliary for their sponsorship and coordination of the Girls State and Boys State programs.
