     On page 2 , delete lines 4 to 9 , inclusive , and insert:

"    A governing body shall establish a maximum number of years that the governing body may impose an excess tax levy as authorized pursuant to §  10-13-36. After that time period is completed, the taxing authority of that governing body returns to the original amount of revenue payable from taxes on real property as established before the imposition of an excess tax levy with that amount indexed as prescribed by §  10-13-35."
