SECOND READING OF CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS

SB 173     revise the elements of the crimes of vehicular homicide and vehicular battery.
SB 183 *    establish certain requirements concerning the publication of county notices.
HB 1001 *    revise certain provisions related to free access to state parks and recreation areas to include certain persons with disabilities.
HB 1066     revise certain responsibilities of the Supreme Court regarding the Commission on Judicial Qualifications.
HB 1084     permit the appointment of a special advocate to represent the best interests of an apparent or alleged abused or neglected child.
HB 1114     allow a broker to form certain business entities under certain conditions.
HB 1115     increase the education requirement for broker associate license.
HB 1116     require post-licensing education for broker associates.

SB 47     (Deferred from 16th LD) make an appropriation for costs related to suppression of wildfires in the state and to declare an emergency.
SB 48     (Deferred from 16th LD) make an appropriation for costs related to disasters in the state and to declare an emergency.
SB 52     (Deferred from 16th LD) make an appropriation from the coordinated natural resources conservation fund to the State Conservation Commission.
SB 32     (Deferred from 18th LD) increase certain fees related to the use of motor vehicles.
SB 36     (Deferred from 18th LD) revise certain drug registration fees and license fees related to health care facilities.
SB 128     create a limited electrician license
SB 180 *    revise certain provisions concerning statements submitted by organizations making contributions to ballot questions committees.
SB 202 *    require implementation of certain energy-saving measures in facilities and equipment maintained by the state.

SECOND READING OF HOUSE BILLS AND JOINT RESOLUTIONS

HB 1133     (Removed from Consent Calendar) authorize certain specialty license plates to be placed on motorcycles.

SC 9     (SJ 19th LD) Honoring Whitney Jencks of Arlington, South Dakota Girls State Governor and Tyler Littau of Carter, South Dakota Boys State Governor; and commending the South Dakota American Legion and Auxiliary for their sponsorship and coordination of the Girls State and Boys State programs.
