         HB 1288      prohibit certain public officials from having an unlawful interest in a public contract and to provide certain penalties therefor.
             Representatives Russell and Greenfield and Senator Maher

         HB 1165      revise certain provisions relating to the exercise of eminent domain by railroads.

         HB 1251      increase the annual license stamp fee upon certain gaming devices.

         HJR 1002      Proposing and submitting to the electors at the next general election an amendment to Article IX, § 1 of the Constitution of the State of South Dakota and a new section to Article IX of the Constitution of the State of South Dakota, relating to the consolidation of counties.

THERE WILL BE NO TESTIMONY TAKEN ON THE FOLLOWING THREE (3) BILLS.
IT IS THE INTENT TO REFER THESE TO THE COMMERCE COMMITTEE.

         HB 1299      require the state-owned fuel terminals and facilities to supply certain ethanol blends.
             Representative Frerichs and Senator Peterson

         HB 1274      prohibit smoking, chewing, possessing, distributing, or selling tobacco products.
             Representative Greenfield

         HB 1280      create reduced ignition propensity standards for cigarettes, to authorize the state fire marshal to monitor such standards, and to provide penalties therefor.
