SECOND READING OF HOUSE BILLS AND JOINT RESOLUTIONS

HB 1018     (Deferred from 7th LD) require a portion of the annual report filing fee paid by certain entities to be deposited in the financing statement and annual report filing fee fund.
HB 1084     (Deferred from 7th LD) permit the appointment of a special advocate to represent the best interests of an apparent or alleged abused or neglected child.
HB 1079 *    (Deferred from 8th LD) revise certain provisions regarding the sex offender registry.
HB 1088 *    (Deferred from 8th LD) provide for the continuance of certain ex parte temporary protection orders.
HB 1054     (Deferred from 8th LD) authorize certain youth licensees who possess a disabled hunting permit to hunt big game animals using a designated hunter.
HB 1006     (Deferred from 8th LD) create a Highway Finance Task Force to study long-term highway needs and to reform the method of financing highways in the state.
HB 1035     require the Secretary of State to redact certain numbers before furnishing copies of information.
HB 1089     provide the court with discretion in ordering certain hearings on protection order petitions.
HB 1050     revise the annual financial reporting requirements of insurance companies.
HB 1057     revise the maximum reimbursement for workers' compensation burial expenses.



HB 1043     make an appropriation to reimburse certain family physicians and dentists who have complied with the requirements of the physician tuition reimbursement program or the dental tuition reimbursement program.
HB 1081     make an appropriation to defray operation costs of the 24/7 sobriety program.
